Summary
Configures Arbortext APP to the speed of your system. This mainly affects mouse operations, particularly in Graphics Mode, and can be thought of as the amount of time Arbortext APP will take before updating a graphic. Ideally, this should be just longer than the amount of time you need to draw the next part of a continuous line using the Straight Line tool.
Example extract

As a guide, a value of about 3000 is appropriate for a 350Mhz machine. When you have found a value that suits your machine and your own personal preference then you can change the speed macro in the system file startup.3ad.This could be specified in the escape bar as:

 speed 3000

Syntax (SVNNA)
speed delay:n
delay:n

A delay factor, typically in the range 1000 to 40000. The faster your machine, the higher your delay factor should be. If the value is too low then you will not be able to perform up-down clicks with the mouse. If the value is too high, there will be unacceptable delays, especially after some graphics operations.
